Software Developer & Orthodontist
After 16+ years in dentistry, I found my way into tech — and it clicked. What started as curiosity turned into a real shift. Technology gave me a new lens for everything I already knew about running a practice, handling data, and solving problems on the fly.
I fell hard for infrastructure. Honestly, the concepts weren't entirely foreign — but learning to think like an engineer instead of a clinician was a whole different challenge. Now I want to be there for every deploy, digging into what's new and how it all fits together.
Years of working with patient records also gave me a strong instinct for data security and handling sensitive information the right way. At this point, I can't picture my life without tech.
Autonomous Medical Regulation for Public Healthcare
In Brazil's public health system (SUS), every step of the regulation process — authorizing transfers, scheduling elective surgeries, coordinating transplant logistics — is done by hand. That means delays. Sometimes those delays cost lives.
LIFE IA tackles this head-on by bringing real interoperability to healthcare. The idea is simple but the impact is huge: connect hospitals, labs, and transport services so that when a patient needs to be moved — whether it's for a routine procedure or an organ transplant — the system handles the matchmaking, not a stack of paperwork.
Under the hood, BioBERT reads and understands medical terminology from clinical records. Tesseract OCR digitizes paper-based charts that most hospitals still rely on. And Llama 3 takes all of that and turns it into something a patient or a non-specialist can actually understand. The whole thing is open source — because public health tools should belong to the public.
Live view of hospital capacity, bed availability, and resource allocation across the network.
Tesseract OCR reads paper-based medical charts and turns them into structured, searchable data.
BioBERT processes medical terms while Llama 3 matches patients to the right facility — no manual paperwork.
Connects hospitals, labs, and transport services so patient data flows where it needs to — including organ transplant logistics.
Every action is logged and LGPD-compliant — full traceability for regulatory and legal requirements.

An intensive, hands-on bootcamp all about AWS. The program walks through 20 real projects — from spinning up EC2 instances to building serverless pipelines — with live mentoring, weekly challenges, and a community of people going through the same thing. It's been a great way to get practical cloud experience and build a portfolio that actually means something.
Building and maintaining the infrastructure behind high-availability healthcare apps.
Designing and running cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Packaging and deploying apps at scale.
Automating the build-test-deploy cycle end to end.
Side projects and things I've built along the way
An Arduino setup that tracks light, humidity, and temperature in real time. Sensor data gets piped straight into a MySQL database through JSerialComm — nothing fancy, just reliable monitoring.
Smart management platform for dental clinics — microservices architecture with WhatsApp automation, digital patient records, auto-invoicing via city API, and real-time dashboards. Designed to cut admin overhead by 20% and eliminate manual billing entirely.
A mobile-first CRUD app built for a sewing workshop. Keeps track of orders, inventory, and production — designed to be simple enough that anyone on the team can use it.
A Kanban board with drag & drop, calendar view, and real-time sync through Supabase. Row Level Security keeps each user's data separate. Built as a group project at PUC Goiás.
Live DemoLanding page for a heavy machinery workshop specializing in hydraulic components. Handled the whole thing end to end — design, development, deployment on Vercel, domain setup with Registro.br, and CI/CD through GitHub Actions.
